About the Opportunity:

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in analyzing complex systems, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and ensuring seamless integration of applications with omni-channel systems.

A Day in the Life:
  • Translate business needs into actionable technical solutions for application development.
  • Develop compelling business cases, including cost/benefit analyses, for strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Maintain production data accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness for guest and employee profiles, transactions, etc.
  • Design and optimize monitoring and alerting capabilities across multiple integrations.
  • Automate report generation using Power BI and Splunk to derive meaningful KPIs.
  • Understand application architecture and technology stacks to recommend strategies that ensure SLAs are met.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, QA testers, and IT support staff.
  • Analyze real/actual data for business reporting, project decision-making, and production issues troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is highly desirable.
  • 7+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development, with a focus on application integration.
  • Proficiency in Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Strong experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with modern development frameworks and languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Knowledge of application hardware and software integration. XStore POS-related experience is a significant asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
