Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Monitoring Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring systems and applications using dashboards, installing, configuring, and maintaining agents, implementing custom monitoring scripts and templates, analyzing metrics, logs, and traces to detect anomalies and performance bottlenecks, designing and implementing end-to-end observability strategies, developing and maintaining architecture standards, best practices, and governance models for observability solutions, troubleshooting monitoring issues, maintaining system reliability, generating and distributing performance reports to stakeholders, automating monitoring processes and workflows, fine-tuning alerting thresholds and configurations, integrating with other tools, collaborating with DevOps, IT, and business teams to align observability strategies with organizational goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Expertise in Dynatrace (One Agent, AppMon, RUM, and Cloud integrations)
  • Proficiency in creating dashboards, custom queries, and alerts in Dynatrace
  • Hands-on experience with deploying and configuring Dynatrace (One Agent, Synthetic Monitoring)
  • Expertise in infrastructure monitoring (servers, databases, networks), understanding of monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for applications and infrastructure
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) and observability tool integration, basic scripting skills for data analysis (Python, SQL)
  • Experience in containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker) and related monitoring
  • Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
  • Knowledge of application performance monitoring (APM), logs, and synthetic monitoring
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Windows systems and networking basics
  • Strong skills in automation (Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools)
