The Role

We seek a highly skilled professional with statistical methodologies, mathematical optimization, and machine learning expertise.

This role requires strong analytical skills, solid statistical inference foundations, and classical machine learning experience, applied to real-world business problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product design and engineering teams for data needs and solutions.
  • Collect, process, and analyze datasets for meaningful insights.
  • Develop and implement statistical & machine learning models and algorithms for business challenges.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in data pipelines, machine learning models, and production systems.
  • Communicate findings through clear data visualizations and reports.

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
  • Deep knowledge of statistical inference, vector calculus, linear algebra, and classical machine learning.
  • 3+ years of data science or machine learning experience combining statistical & technical skills.
  • Excellent development skills in Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills translating complex statistical concepts into practical business applications.
  • A collaborative team player with agile development environment experience.

Nice to Have:

  • Convex optimization experience.
  • Kaggle competitions or similar data science challenge familiarity.
