The Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Estimation and Analysis: Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents for construction projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Project Coordination: Conduct on-site measurements and inspections to verify progress and compliance with specifications, analyzing project costs, budgets, and schedules.
  • Contractor Evaluation: Evaluate contractor claims, variations, and valuations in collaboration with senior quantity surveyors, ensuring proper documentation is in place.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Quantity Take-off: Verify drawing layers, scales, and dimensions are appropriately defined, review floor plans, sections, and elevations to understand scope of work, and identify elements to be measured.
  • Document Management: Finalize quantity requirements and share for verification, organize extracted data by material, component type, or location for easier analysis.
