Job Description

Elevate our organization's security posture by leading the development of a comprehensive cloud, on-prem, and hybrid security strategy. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure architectures, policies, and procedures.

  • Security Architecture: Develop and maintain enterprise-wide security standards and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Policy and Automation: Design and implement policy-as-code solutions to automate security compliance checks and ensure drift-resistant configurations across cloud, containers, and virtual machines.
  • Infrastructure Security: Implement automated drift alerts and self-healing playbooks for network segments, firewall rules, Kubernetes clusters, and endpoints.
  • Monitoring and Incident Response: Configure logging and monitoring tools to detect critical security events and develop incident response plans to mitigate threats.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in driving security and compliance initiatives in dynamic environments, with expertise in cloud-native platforms and hybrid infrastructures.
  • Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security features, including IAM, KMS, VPC Service Controls, and Cloud Logging/Audit.
  • Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills using Terraform or equivalent, and GitOps experience with ArgoCD or Flux.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting and policy-as-code frameworks like OPA or Gatekeeper.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into clear policies and remediation plans.
