Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to oversee our financial operations, ensuring compliance with US taxation and accounting standards for venture capital funds.

About the Role:

  • Fund Accounting: Manage day-to-day fund accounting activities, including maintaining general ledgers, journals, and financial statements for the fund.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
  • Oversee fund performance tracking, including cash flow management, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
  • US Taxation Compliance: Ensure compliance with US taxation laws for venture capital funds, including preparation and filing of tax returns (such as 1065, K-1, etc.).
  • Payroll Management (Indian Employees): Oversee the payroll processing for Indian employees, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audits, providing insights into the financial health of the firm.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that financial operations comply with relevant regulations, including fund reporting and tax filings for both US and Indian jurisdictions.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in financial accounting, fund accounting, or a related role, with a strong understanding of US taxation for venture capital firms.
  • Experience in payroll management for Indian employees, with in-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws (TDS, Provident Fund, ESI, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, including US GAAP and fund accounting practices.
