Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily briefings for Room Attendants to ensure they are aware of their tasks and responsibilities.
  • Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and pantries on a daily basis to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for Room Attendants to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintain effective employee relations by providing guidance, support, and feedback to Room Attendants.
  • Check and maintain equipment and machines used in the housekeeping department.
  • Prepare job orders and coordinate with Engineering for follow-up.
  • Ensure special attention is given to VIP rooms.
  • Report any sick or irregular guests, as well as any strangers on guest corridors, to the Housekeeper Security Office immediately.
  • Properly hand over and take over of the incoming and outgoing shifts to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Report all Lost & Found items to Housekeeping.
  • Prepare discrepancy reports for the front office.
  • Conduct fumigation for rooms and floors as needed.
  • Follow up on Do Not Disturb rooms to ensure guest comfort.
  • Prepare inventory for room linen.
  • Notify Housekeeping of any damage caused by guests.
  • Check and follow all maintenance reports if the work is incomplete.
  • Ensure that all flower arrangements look pleasant before delivery to rooms.
  • While inspecting guest rooms and other areas, maintain an eye for detail.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally 2 years as a Floor Supervisor in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
  • Strong orientation for details and precision.
  • Able to motivate the team to ensure constant growth.
  • Knowledge of the Opera operating system is an advantage.
  • Passion for the world of hospitality.
  • Ability to have a positive impact on people, leaving them with a memorable experience.
  • Part of a hardworking, mutually supportive team.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English required.
  • Good knowledge of the Office package.
