Job Title: Physical Education Director

Our organization seeks a dedicated and skilled Physical Education Director to lead our physical education programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive physical education curricula that meet institutional and regulatory standards.
  • Manage and maintain sports facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and conducive environment for physical activities.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate physical education teachers, coaches, and support staff.
  • Organize and coordinate sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities to encourage student engagement.
  • Monitor and promote student health and wellness through fitness programs and awareness campaigns.
  • Prepare and manage the department budget to optimize resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and protocols related to physical education and sports.
  • Maintain detailed records of student participation, program effectiveness, and equipment inventory.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and external sports organizations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience managing physical education programs in an educational or institutional setting.
  • Proven expertise in designing, organizing, and managing physical education and sports programs.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive physical education curricula aligned with educational standards and student needs.
  • Strong understanding of fitness, health promotion, and wellness practices to encourage student participation and wellbeing.
  • Experience in supervising coaches, trainers, and support staff, including training and performance management.
  • Ability to plan and manage sports events, competitions, and extracurricular physical activities.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and protocols related to physical activities and sports facilities.
  • Skilled in maintaining accurate records of student participation, program outcomes, and equipment inventory.
  • Effective communication with students, parents, faculty, and external organizations.
