Senior Biostatistician Role

The Senior Biostatistician plays a vital role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality statistical expertise and support. This includes performing quality control of data displays, conducting QC analysis of datasets prepared by others, and maintaining project administration files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing statistical leadership and support to clinical trials
  • Participating in study-related activities and team meetings
  • Autoring or reviewing statistical analysis plans
  • Cordinating with biostatisticians, statistical programmers, and data managers to prepare/conduct/review statistical analyses
  • Ensuring the accuracy of final statistical deliverables
  • Guiding and supervising programmers in authoring analysis dataset specifications and programming/validation of tables, listings, and figures
  • Validating analysis variables and statistical outputs

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in statistics or related fields with 6+ years of industry experience as a Statistician
  • PhD degree with 3+ years of postgraduate experience in Biostatistics or equivalent
  • Ability to lead projects and manage team members, working collaboratively, effectively, and productively in diverse organization structures
  • Solid statistics background and training, working knowledge of advanced statistical methodologies, and SAS programming skills
