Automation Excellence Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Excellence Lead with expertise in Selenium, Python, and API testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive automation frameworks using Selenium with Python to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
  • Develop and drive API automation testing strategies using Python and tools like Postman/RestAssured/Requests library to ensure robust testing.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define and implement effective test strategies that meet business needs.
  • Ensure seamless automation coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing to guarantee high-quality software delivery.
  • Perform thorough root-cause analysis of defects and drive quick turnaround on fixes to minimize downtime.
  • Mentor junior automation engineers within the team to foster growth and development.
  • Adhere to industry best practices, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives to stay ahead of the curve.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 7–9 years of experience in Automation Testing, with at least 3+ years in a lead/mentorship role, driving excellence in test automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Python, with a focus on optimization and efficiency.
  • Expertise in API test automation (REST/SOAP APIs) using Python libraries or tools, with a emphasis on robust testing.
  • Solid understanding of automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-driven, Page Object Model, BDD/TDD), with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.), with a focus on streamlining testing processes.
  • Good knowledge of test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.), with a focus on effective test planning and execution.
Good to Have:
  • Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust), with a focus on load and stress testing.
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), with a focus on scalability and flexibility.
