Automation Test Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Lead to lead our automated testing efforts and drive process improvements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement automated testing strategies and frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing of software applications.
  • Lead a team of automation test engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing tools and scripts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs and develop test plans to meet business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test data sets to support automated testing efforts.
  • Design and execute thorough tests to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to automated testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in automated testing and apply that knowledge to improve our testing processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and optimal use of resources.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards in automated testing.
  • Provide regular updates to management on testing progress and results.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated testing into the DevOps process.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of testing.
  • Contribute to the development of testing strategies and processes that align with business goals.

 

Requirements
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in automated testing and leading testing teams.
  • Expert-level knowledge of automated testing tools and technologies.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective automated testing strategies and processes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data validation.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and testing principles.
  • Certification in testing or related field is a plus.
