We are seeking a skilled security professional to safeguard our systems, networks, and data from internal and external threats. The ideal candidate will design and implement security solutions, monitor for vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents to ensure maximum system integrity and data protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Security Tools and Infrastructure: Develop and deploy security tools and infrastructure to protect against cyber threats.
  • Monitor Systems and Networks: Continuously monitor systems and networks for potential security breaches and investigate any violations.
  • Perform Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Lead Incident Response Activities: Lead incident response activities, including root cause analysis and remediation, to minimize the impact of security incidents.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Collaborate with IT Teams: Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices and secure software development lifecycle.
  • Manage Security Tools: Manage firewalls, antivirus, EDR, SIEM, DLP, and IDS/IPS tools to maintain a robust security posture.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, proxies, and endpoint protection.
  • Proficiency with Security Tools: Proficiency with security information and event management platforms (e.g., Splunk), vulnerability scanners, and forensic tools.
  • Experience with Automation: Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python) to streamline security processes.
  • Knowledge of Network Protocols: In-depth knowledge of network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cybersecurity Certifications: Professional certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, OSCP.
  • Cloud Security Experience: Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
