QA Engineer for E-Commerce Search Integration

  • Ensure the quality and performance of e-commerce search integrations.
  • Validate data pipelines, execute end-to-end testing, and guarantee an exceptional customer experience.
  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for retail search implementations.
  • Collaborate with development, product, and data engineering teams to identify and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Search Relevance and Ranking: Validate search relevance, ranking, and results quality across e-commerce platforms.
  • Test Case Design: Design, develop, and execute test cases for Google Retail Search implementations.
  • End-to-End Testing: Perform end-to-end testing on data pipelines and integrations between GRS, BigQuery, and associated databases.
  • SQL Querying: Write complex SQL queries to validate datasets, perform data profiling, and verify ETL jobs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ Years Experience: 5+ years of experience in QA or software testing roles.
  • Google Retail Search Experience: Hands-on experience with Google Retail Search or similar retail search/AI-based search solutions.
  • Strong SQL Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL, including ability to write complex joins and data validation queries.
  • E-Commerce Search Expertise: Experience testing e-commerce search functionality, including relevance tuning, search metrics, and user behavior.
