Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Junior Architect to join our team as an Architectural Designer. The ideal candidate will assist senior architects in all stages of design, drafting, and rendering, and be actively involved in site visits, vendor coordination, and collaboration with contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing: Assist senior architects in conceptualizing and developing architectural designs for various projects.
- Drafting: Prepare detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Rendering: Create high-quality 3D visualizations and renderings using Lumion and Photoshop to communicate design ideas to clients.
- Site Visits: Regularly visit project sites to oversee construction progress, gather site-specific data, and address any design-related issues.
- Coordination: Work closely with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
- Documentation & Reports: Assist in preparing reports, project presentations, and maintain accurate project documentation using MS Office and PowerPoint.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and contribute creatively to the overall project development process.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and MS Office Suite.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and Tamil (both written and spoken) is a must.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Site Experience: Some experience or interest in construction and site visits is a plus.
