Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Fund Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely Net Asset Values (NAVs) and performing various types of reconciliation between client general ledger data and market data providers.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in fund accounting and a passion for delivering high-quality results. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of financial information.

Responsibilities
  • Manage open- and closed-ended hedge funds with reconciliation and integration of trades for clients.
  • Account for and book corporate actions trades.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly GAV/NAV statements involving the booking of capital activities, market value reconciliation, computation of profit and loss for financial instruments, expense accounting, dividend accrual reconciliation, bond coupon accrual reconciliation, and confirming trial balance ledgers tie-up with various sub-ledgers.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of preparing and reviewing financial statements (US GAAP, IFRS).
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant or MBA with 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial/capital markets products including equity, bonds, futures, options, and FX forwards.
  • Hands-on experience working with MS Excel and formulas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
