Job Title: Senior Consultant, Valuation Services

The Valuation Advisory team seeks a senior consultant to be based in the Netherlands office. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are interested in learning best practices, tools and techniques by working on valuation engagements for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform multiple complex valuation engagements on a wide range of illiquid investments while using accepted and relevant approaches and theory.
  • Manage client engagements from day-to-day interaction with the client through to timely completion.
  • Design financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction and option pricing analysis.
  • Report and present analyses and conclusions, including writing valuation reports.
  • Contribute directly to the development of proposals, presentations, and publications.
  • Work with internal management in building and maintaining internal client relationships.
  • Identify and communicate potential engagements to internal/external management and write engagement letters.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities towards the engagement such as code creation, reporting and invoicing.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or MBA or a professional qualification in Finance or Accounting (ACCA, CFA, CPA, CA etc.).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of constructing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of working with databases including Capital IQ, Bloomberg, MergerMarket, KTMine, etc.
