Job Title: IT Sourcing Specialist

This role is responsible for sourcing and procurement of IT category in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster effective collaboration with key stakeholders to deliver business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder engagement matrix, driving high levels of satisfaction.
  • Manage supplier relationships for assigned suppliers.
  • Act as key contact person for IT category with expertise on sub-categories such as HW, SW, SaaS, Network, Telecom, Co-lo.
  1. Sourcing Planning:
  • Analyze spend and contracts to identify sourcing opportunities and cost reduction strategies.
  • Formulate cost models for business needs.
  • Work with stakeholders to define and implement IT strategies and sourcing area plans.
  1. Management of Sourcing Initiatives:
  • Lead and execute IT sourcing projects from end-to-end in line with agreed timelines and service quality.
  • Deliver allocated savings target through effective management of sourcing initiatives.
  • Adhere to defined sourcing policies and processes.
  • Ensure ethics in supplier engagements.
  1. Sourcing Support:
  • Provide sourcing subject matter expertise to support client engagements.
  • Support sourcing planning and execution of projects across a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

Qualification:

  • University degree or industry experience equivalent.
  • Additional sourcing/procurement certification advantageous.
  • Strong English language skills.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 12-15 years' experience in strategic sourcing, ideally international.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Strong sourcing experience in IT Infrastructure Products and Services, Office IT Products and Services, and Cloud services.
  • Deep understanding of License Model, Service Models, IT – Applications and Infrastructure.
  • Ability to negotiate with third-party IT vendors.
  • Highly competent in negotiations and contract knowledge.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Cross-category sourcing experience advantageous.
