Job Role:
The High Performance Data Scientist will deliver high-quality integrated data assets that support creating analytical models and visualizations to derive insights driving personalization opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Gather and transform large sets of raw data into well-built integrated data assets using SQL, AWS Glue or other emerging technologies.
- Recommend, build, and monitor robust and extensible data models capturing business performance from a customer experience lens.
- Identify and execute data quality testing along critical checkpoints and surface data drift or anomalies.
- Maintain accuracy of data and build automated processes catching issues proactively and report.
- Be the expert in critical customer experience data assets and maintain a catalog for reference.
- Develop visualizations in Tableau and occasionally support data science teams with exploratory data analysis and KPI development.
- Validate and performance-tune complex SQL queries.
- Train team members on SQL, AWS, and Tableau best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or engineering.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in data-driven solutions.
- Expert in writing Advance/Complex SQL queries with strong experience in Python (NumPy & Pandas) and EDA and data processing/data infra tools such as AWS Glue, S3 or Redshift.
- Proficient with Tableau or Power Bi for advanced visualization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding Gen AI.
- Working knowledge of statistical/machine learning tools (e.g., scikit-learn).
- Prior experience with airline or Hospitality data a plus.
