Network Infrastructure Lead

 

We seek a highly experienced Network Infrastructure Lead to join our team and spearhead the design, architecture, installation, maintenance, and management of cloud network infrastructure. This includes physical and Software Defined Networking (SDN) frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and architect cloud network infrastructure encompassing both physical and SDN network frameworks.
  2. Ensure high availability, flexibility, and optimal network performance meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
  3. Oversee infrastructure documentation to ensure accuracy and currency.
  4. Collaborate with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  5. Lead a team of Network Engineers providing technical guidance and evaluating team member performance.
  6. Monitor key performance metrics identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
  7. Develop and deliver solution presentations and technical proposals for cloud network infrastructure.
  8. Manage and deliver technical validation activities including Proof of Concept.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Data Center networks, L2/L3 technologies, and related equipment.
  • Strong understanding of Data Center network technologies including WAN, Routing, Security, Switching, QoS, and Network Monitoring Protocols.
  • Familiarity with SDN technologies preferably hands-on experience with VMWare NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista, or Cisco.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills, effective project management, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Experience leading a team of at least 4 people in a similar role.

Bonus attributes: Hands-on expertise in CloudStack networking.
