The company is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Automated Welding Specialist with strong expertise in robotic systems to join the production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated welding operations. They will work closely with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes, improve quality, and ensure efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automated welding systems for high-volume production environments.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of ABB robots and associated vision systems, including integration and operation.
  • Program, calibrate, and troubleshoot ABB robotic welding systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Apply basic knowledge of PLC automation, IoT, and digitalization tools, including diagnostic and troubleshooting practices.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to successfully integrate robotic systems into manufacturing processes.
  • Continuously monitor and fine-tune automated welding operations for quality, cycle time, and consistency.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as schematics, operation manuals, maintenance procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Provide training and hands-on support to operators and maintenance staff on the use and upkeep of robotic systems.
  • Analyze production and performance data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and internal protocols in all automated system operations.
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements in robotics, welding technologies, and smart factory systems.
  • Promote and implement operational excellence initiatives throughout the facility.
  • Develop and propose innovative robotic automation solutions to enhance efficiency and competitiveness within the plant.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • +7 years of experience in industrial robotics (preferably ABB), preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with robotic welding systems and programming languages (e.g., RAPID, KML, Ladder Logic).
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, resistance welding, etc.) and welding quality standards.
  • Familiarity with robotic simulation and offline programming tools.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, vision systems, and automation control systems is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
