About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our Karnataka Service Team as a Sr. Customer Support Engineer based in Bangalore. As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the State Service Manager and be responsible for conducting service, repair, and/or installation of Beckman Coulter products or IT solutions at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical testing, adhering to maintenance contracts.
  • Diagnose system failures and determine the most cost-effective solution.
  • Escalate complex issues to greater levels of technical support or quality reporting systems.
  • Develop new customer service/product agreements.

As a successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to install and maintain instruments and systems in laboratory environments, deliver basic operational training, provide effective product and customer support, ensure preventive maintenance planning, and seek timely support for difficult product issues.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • An Engineering Graduate with a B.E./B.Tech. Degree or higher.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience in the relevant field, with exposure to customer services (Technical) in the IVD industry.
  • Adequate skills to consultatively help and support technical troubleshooting along with other functions.
  • Proven analytical skills and proficiency in basic MS Office tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc., and communication tools like Outlook, MS Teams.
  • The ability to drive corrective and preventive actions to improve service delivery based on customer feedback.
  • A relentless focus on achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction to drive business growth in a healthcare environment.
