Job Title:

Seeking an Experienced Data System Developer to spearhead the design and implementation of large-scale data processing systems utilizing Spark/Cloudera technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Databricks, Python, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark
  • Migrate large datasets from legacy systems like Cloudera to modern platforms such as Apache Spark
  • Design and orchestrate complex data workflows using Airflow or equivalent tools
  • Guarantee data quality, integrity, and security best practices throughout the entire data lifecycle
  • Implement real-time/streaming data processing capabilities using Spark Structured Streaming for enhanced business insights
  • Develop and enforce DevOps/MLOps strategies leveraging CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization
  • Expertise in data governance, lineage, and metadata management is a must

Requirements:

  • Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark (or equivalent)
  • Strong programming skills in Python/Scala for efficient Spark development
  • Hands-on experience with Delta Lake, Spark DataFrame API, and related technologies
  • Proven track record in large-scale data migrations from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms
