Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Excellence Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving efficiency across our procure-to-pay processes and collaborating closely with business owners to ensure timely and accurate execution of procurement requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure-to-Pay Operations: Drive efficiency across the end-to-end P2P processes, including order creation, vendor qualification, invoice resolution, and payments.
  • Collaborate closely with business owners to ensure the timely and accurate execution of procurement requests.
  • Monitor and track key performance metrics and provide escalation for unresolved issues, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Provide continuous visibility of P2P process performance using data insights and actionable reporting.

Business Operations Support:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for operational challenges within our framework, resolving issues related to processes and operations.
  • Develop presentations, business cases, and problem-solving strategies to communicate operational improvements effectively.
  • Support and implement process streamlining and improvement initiatives across functional teams.
  • Ensure smooth adaptation and flexibility in business operations to meet evolving needs.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Foster strong relationships with functional teams, including Finance, Procurement, and Accounts Payable, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work closely with external stakeholders to address procure-to-pay-related queries and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Share best practices, lessons learned, and improvements with other business excellence groups to standardize and elevate processes.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively identify emerging issues within our R&D business processes and propose effective solutions.
  • Apply operational excellence principles and frameworks to remove inefficiencies and enhance business processes.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, driving change and ensuring successful implementation of process enhancements.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications are preferred.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of professional experience, with at least 6+ years in business-related roles.
  • 4+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries, with a solid understanding of FDA and EU regulations.
  • 3+ years of experience in business operations, finance, accounting, or procurement roles, with proficiency in SAP preferred.
  • Proven track record of implementing change management initiatives and improving business processes.
  • Strong experience in project planning, managing multiple workstreams, and achieving operational objectives.

Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per year
