Ensure the Optimal Performance and Uptime of Windchill

  • Administer and maintain the Windchill system to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Perform necessary upgrades, patches, and migrations to keep the system running smoothly.
  • Configure and customize Windchill according to business requirements for maximum efficiency.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings to protect sensitive data.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Windchill configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Implement best practices for data management and system security to ensure compliance and integrity.
  • Contribute to PLM projects by participating in planning, design, and execution phases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Windchill System Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture, modules, and functionalities.
  • Experience with Windchill configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and SQL.
  • Familiarity with PLM best practices and data management principles.
  • Experience deploying or managing Windchill in AWS cloud environment.
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
