Job Description

As a senior Windchill infrastructure engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining server architecture, overseeing system upgrades and performance tuning, and ensuring high availability and disaster recovery planning.

You will also manage user accounts, roles, and permissions, monitor system health and performance metrics, and implement backup and recovery procedures.

Additionally, you will lead technical support for Windchill-related issues, coordinate with CAD and PLM teams to resolve integration issues, and liaise with software vendors for escalated support and updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in Windchill system administration and infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of PTC Windchill.
  • Experience with server management (Windows/Linux), databases (Oracle/MS SQL), and network protocols.
  • Familiarity with CAD integrations (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Leadership experience in managing technical teams.
