Research and Development Manager

Lead our team in driving innovation and new product development while managing strategic partnerships and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize solid research skills and creative approach to assess ingredients and technologies.
  • Develop innovative solutions in discovery, advancement, and evaluation of new technologies with significant impact on new products, improved processes, and/or capital avoidance.
  • Manage relationships across external resources, including research institutes, technology providers, and suppliers, to facilitate acquisition of novel technologies.
  • Collaborate with multiple functions internally and externally to deliver against project goals.
  • Act as primary contact with external technology partners for technology and ingredient evaluation.
  • Function effectively as Research Manager, Planner, Coordinator, Communicator, and Technical Expert.
  • Document all work, including technical plans, experimental reports, and plant trial reports.
  • Provide technical advice to senior management on scientific advancements beneficial to the company.
  • Support Marketing teams and customers on key technical projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology or related field.
  • Deep system and process knowledge of state-of-the-art R&D centers.
  • Strong product development skills in Dairy and Beverage Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Food Flavor, Ingredient interactions, food chemistry, formulations, and processes.
  • Ability to translate technical knowledge into tangible results.
  • Exposure to product development activities and keeping abreast of new Technical Developments, Product Launches, and Market trends in the Food industry.
