English Teacher Role

The school is seeking an experienced and qualified English teacher to join its team.

  • Curriculum Delivery: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the required curriculum, demonstrating accurate and up-to-date knowledge of the subject matter.
  • Lesson Planning: They will plan and deliver quality lessons to motivate students, creating and utilizing appropriate materials and the classroom environment to cater to different learning styles.
  • Record Keeping: Establish and maintain records of curriculum and year plans, attendance, teaching resources, assessment plans, etc., and share them from time to time or on request.
  • Implementation Strategies: Implementation of destinations & milestones & related strategies, Lesson Plans, Worksheets, class & home assignments.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Preparation for instruments of assessment and implementation of weekly, unit, term, and Annual plans for assessment and evaluation according to defined criteria.
  • Student Feedback: Giving appropriate, meaningful, and accurate feedback to students, both qualitative and quantitative, as per School Policy.
  • Student Progress Evaluation: Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • School Policies: Ensure the Kunskapsskolan policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
  • Professional Development: Participate in Appraisal and Professional development (PD).
  • Co-Curricular Activities: Lead and participate in co-curricular, events, staff meetings, and extra-curricular programmes in the school. Promote good working relationships through active leadership and the sharing of ideas, materials, and experiences.
