About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle DBA to lead the administration, optimization, and security of our Oracle database landscape. This includes mission-critical systems supporting enterprise applications like SAP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot multiple Oracle databases in production, development, and QA environments.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations, including platform and cross-version migrations.
  • Optimize database performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and advanced tuning techniques.
  • Manage high availability and disaster recovery configurations using Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
  • Automate administrative tasks and reporting using shell scripting, PL/SQL, or Python.
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis team to support SAP systems using Oracle, including performance tuning and backup coordination.
  • Ensure database compliance with security, audit, and regulatory standards (SOX, ISO, etc.).
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • ~6+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in large-scale, enterprise-grade environments.
  • Strong background in Oracle database technologies, high availability architecture, and hands-on experience with SAP-Oracle integration or collaboration with SAP Basis teams.
