Job Description\

The role of this expert involves planning, designing, configuring, developing, and testing the Opcenter application. This expert will work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth implementation and maintenance of the application. Additionally, this role will collaborate with Siemens integration technology to enable closed-loop manufacturing.

  1. Plan, design, configure, implement, develop, and maintain the Siemens Opcenter Core & Electronics (Camstar MES) application to meet the needs of the operations.
  2. Analyze, design, configure, develop, and test requested functionality in the development environment.
  3. Install and configure Opcenter Core & Electronics high-availability.
  4. Support the operations team in testing and accepting new changes in the Opcenter test environment.
  5. Collaborate with the DBA team to migrate newly developed functionality to the production environment with minimal negative impact on the business.
  6. Monitor the Opcenter Core & Electronics application to ensure normal operation in the production line.
  7. Maintain documentation for key applications.
  8. Adhere to industry-leading practices for Software Development Life Cycle and company policies and practices for Opcenter Core & Electronics.
  9. Collaborate with global IT teams for Opcenter Core & Electronics MES projects and support activities.
  10. Train junior or new team members and users as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications\
  • 5+ years of experience and knowledge in planning, designing, configuring, developing, implementing, and maintaining Opcenter Core & Electronics (Camstar MES) application.
  • Experience in leading and implementing 2 or more deployments of Siemens Opcenter implementations.
  • Proficiency in Modelling, Printing & Labeling Change, CIO setting, Portal Layout Changes, and Business Rules.
  • Experience and knowledge in Opcenter Core Designer.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
  • Master of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
