As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, automating, and operating production-grade cloud infrastructure. This involves leveraging a broad set of AWS services to create resilient, secure, and scalable systems across multi-region environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing and deploying infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible. They should also be proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Shell, with experience in container orchestration using Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Deployment: Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure using a broad set of AWS services including VPC, IAM, RDS, EC2, ECS, S3, Bedrock, CloudWatch, EFS, MQ, OpenSearch, ElastiCache, ECR, CodeArtifact, Lambda, Route53, CloudTrail, and ELB.
• Operational Efficiency: Operate and scale multi-region, production-facing applications, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and DR readiness.
• Automation and Security: Implement DevOps & DevSecOps practices with automation-first approaches for deployments, security, compliance, and monitoring.
• Infrastructure Management: Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Containerization: Leverage containerization & orchestration tools such as Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
• System Administration: Administer and optimize Linux systems (Ubuntu/Debian), focusing on performance, security, and automation.
• CICD Pipelines: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions (preferred) or Jenkins.
• Scripting: Develop Python, Bash, and Shell scripts for automation, tooling, and system orchestration.
• Network Configuration: Implement and manage network configurations including LAN, WAN, IPv4/IPv6, VPNs, site-to-site connectivity, and firewalls.
• Monitoring and Observability: Leverage monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, and APM solutions (New Relic, Datadog – nice to have).
• Workflow Orchestration: Work with Airflow for workflow orchestration and data pipeline automation.
• Compliance and Backup: Ensure compliance with SOC2 standards and manage cloud DR/backup strategies.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Innovation: Explore AI-assisted engineering tools (Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to improve development and automation efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related fields.
• AWS Expertise: Proven track record of managing AWS services at scale in production environments.
• IaC Practices: Expertise in Terraform, Ansible, and IaC practices.
• Linux Administration: Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu/Debian preferred).
• Container Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell).
• CICD Pipelines: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
• Networking Fundamentals: Knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, IPv4, IPv6, VPNs, Firewalls).
• Elasticsearch and Kibana: Experience operating multi-node Elasticsearch & Kibana clusters.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• AI/ML-Based Tools: Exposure to AI/ML-based productivity tools for DevOps workflows.
• APM Tools: Hands-on experience with APM tools such as New Relic or Sentry.
• On-Premise Rack Servers: Experience managing on-premise rack servers in hybrid environments.
