As a Data Scientist II on our DS/MLE team, you will be a technical expert building models for initiatives such as image recognition, recommender systems, natural language processing, large language models, segmentation, and user behavior analysis.

About Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, testing, and implementing models
  • Collaborating with data engineers and machine learning engineers to deliver products and insights
  • Developing advanced machine learning algorithms and proof-of-concept solutions
  • Experimenting and innovating in applications of machine learning to business challenges
  • Providing technical guidance to junior team members

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A degree (B.S. or higher) in a technical field or relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of machine learning experience in industry/academia
  • Experience in one or more areas of advanced data science (NLP, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, etc.) with NLP/LLMs experience highly valued
  • Skills in statistical analysis and experiment design
  • Proficiency in software development with Python programming skills
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, JAX, PyTorch, Spark MLlib, Keras, or scikit-learn
  • Strong communication skills including non-technical audiences
  • Proven attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team
