Fire Protection Specialist

A Fire Protection Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of buildings, particularly high-rise, residential, or commercial structures. This position requires expertise in fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems and fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implementation Management: Oversee the design and implementation of fire protection systems to ensure they meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Review contractors' testing and commissioning results, providing recommendations to management on improvements.
  • Installation Oversight: Conduct site inspections to verify that installations comply with codes and regulations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all subcontractors, laborers, and vendors adhere to specifications and safety protocols.
  • Problem-Solving Coordination: Facilitate issue resolution among subcontractors, clients, and vendors during construction projects.
Requirements:
  • Fire Protection Systems Expertise: In-depth knowledge of fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems and fire alarm systems.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and quality outcomes.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel, as well as other relevant software applications.
