Job Title: Academic Quality Director

About the Role

This is a key position for driving academic excellence across our school. We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee curriculum design, instructional quality, and teacher development.

Main Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Leadership
    • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with modern pedagogical strategies and curriculum standards.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers to enhance their instructional delivery.
  • Teacher Support & Training
    • Conduct regular classroom observations to evaluate teaching effectiveness and provide targeted feedback.
    • Organize workshops and training sessions to reinforce modern teaching methods.
  • Reporting & Communication
    • Prepare monthly academic performance reports for senior leadership.
    • Maintain open communication with colleagues to address challenges and track progress.
  • Academic Quality Assurance
    • Ensure consistent implementation of school-approved teaching and learning strategies.
    • Identify professional development needs based on observation data and lesson plan reviews.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of curriculum design, instructional leadership, and teacher development.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate teachers with varied levels of openness to change.
  • Data-driven approach to tracking academic performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Education or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in an instructional leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing teaching and learning improvements at scale.
