Job Title: Health Analyst Specialist

As a health analyst specialist, you will assist consultants and stakeholders in the US Health domain by delivering periodic actuarial valuations for clients using ProVal software, standard IBNP models, AMS tools, and other actuarial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will operate as part of a team under supervision to support senior team members in providing expert, timely, efficient, and professional delivery of services to onshore consultants.
  • Take responsibility for producing high-quality work that meets client expectations, including undertaking and completing complex actuarial calculations and reports as defined in competence and experience requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues to deliver work on time, demonstrating ability to convey logical thought processes and produce well-presented work that is easy for others to follow.
Skills and Competencies:
  • A graduate degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or engineering is preferred.
  • Active student membership in the Institute of Actuaries is required, along with completion of at least one core technical actuarial exam.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel text functions (LEFT, LEN, math functions, SUM, PRODUCT, statistical functions, AVERAGE, COUNT, logical functions, IF, OR, and lookups) is necessary.
  • Proficiency in basic tool functionalities for creating, editing, and formatting presentations is expected.
  • Strong business communication skills, including proficiency in email and conference calls, are essential.
