Job Title: Manual QA Engineer

Manual QA Engineers play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of our e-commerce platforms. We are seeking an individual with hands-on experience in testing e-commerce applications to join our growing QA team.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and possesses a strong understanding of end-to-end testing of e-commerce workflows such as product listings, cart functionality, checkout, and payment integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements to ensure seamless integration of features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Design and execute test cases for web and mobile platforms to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features to ensure stability and performance.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar, to facilitate resolution and prevent recurrence.
  • Validate fixes and conduct re-testing as needed to confirm issue resolution.
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation to enhance overall quality and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Hands-on experience testing e-commerce platforms or applications, with a deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Familiarity with test case management tools, issue tracking tools, and cross-browser and mobile testing.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools to expand testing capabilities.
  • Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries to support testing efforts.
  • Knowledge of automation tools, such as Selenium, to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built e-commerce systems to broaden testing expertise.
