Backend Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems for mobile applications.

You will design and develop robust backend systems using Node.js, Python, or Go, with expertise in REST APIs, authentication, security, error handling, and observability. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers and designers to ensure seamless integration and user experience.

In addition to your technical skills, you will work in an agile environment, collaborating with the product and design teams to build innovative solutions. You will also stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve our backend systems.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in building and shipping real backend systems used in production.
  • Expertise in REST APIs, authentication, security, error handling, and observability.
  • Proficiency in at least one language (Node.js, Python, Go) with expertise in writing clean, well-structured code.
  • Experience working with AI tools, such as Copilot, GPT, Cursor, Cody, etc.
