Job Title: Data Engineer- Apache RayOverview

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled data engineer to fill the role of Data Engineer- Apache Ray. This position plays a key part in designing and implementing data processing systems using Apache Ray.

Responsibilities
  • Deep Understanding of Ray: You will have a deep understanding of Apache Ray and its capabilities, allowing you to effectively design and implement data processing systems.
  • Environment Management: As a data engineer, you will operate, monitor, and troubleshoot all aspects of our production and non-production environments.
  • Deployment and Orchestration: You will be responsible for automating the deployment and orchestration of services into cloud environments as well as other routine processes.
  • Cloud Environment: You will work on multiple cloud environments like AWS and GCP, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operation.
  • Capacity Planning: You will actively participate in capacity planning, scale testing, and disaster recovery exercises, helping to ensure business continuity and resilience.
  • Team Collaboration: As a team member, you will interact with and support partner teams, including Engineering, QA, and program management, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Troubleshooting: You will troubleshoot customer concerns for ML Tuning and inference endpoints on Ray, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • API Design: You will design and implement RESTful/RPC API and services using Golang or Python, enhancing our technical capabilities.
  • SLI/SLA Reporting: You will implement SLO/SLI, error budget reporting for various customers, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
