Job Opportunity: Senior Azure SQL Developer

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a highly skilled SQL developer and data engineer who can leverage their expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and T-SQL queries to build, optimize, and maintain robust data solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support data processing and reporting.
  • Perform data modeling, database design, and query performance tuning.
  • Manage data workflows between on-premise systems and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Ensure high performance, availability, and reliability of data solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable data pipelines.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for processes, data models, and technical solutions.
  • Adhere to best practices for data security, compliance, and governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the software industry
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in CS/IT, or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Key Requirements:

  • Strong experience in SQL Server development (T-SQL, indexing, query optimization)
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building data pipelines
  • Proficient in ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data transformation

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics or Microsoft Fabric
  • Microsoft Azure certifications
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, or Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Power BI or SSRS reporting tools
