Job Title: Business Data Insights Specialist
Job Location: This role is fully remote and located offshore (India).
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders to understand and gather analytics and reporting requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze the collected data.
- Collaborate with the capabilities team to identify source systems, data sets, and tables required to meet the needs.
- Convert functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional design documents in collaboration with data modelers and engineers.
- Perform unit testing of the solution and support user acceptance testing for business teams.
- Facilitate communication between business and IT departments.
- Support deployment of technical solutions to production and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance in the new Snowflake environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.
- Understanding of Supply Chain business processes.
- Experience working on Analytics-related projects and implementations.
- Good exposure to SAP ERP systems like ECC or S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts and ability to identify relationships between data sets.
- Exposure to SQL queries and ability to query data for analysis/troubleshooting.
- Exposure to BI reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
