Enterprise Java Developer Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Java Developer to join our team.

This individual will work on complex enterprise applications, collaborating with architects, leads, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, Maintain, and Optimize Backend Services
  • Build and Deploy Microservices within Kubernetes
  • Implement ETL Pipelines using Airflow or Spring Batch
  • Work with Snowflake for Pipeline Management and Query Optimisation
  • Integrate Messaging Solutions using Kafka or Similar Frameworks
  • Collaborate with Cloud Infrastructure Teams for Service Deployment and Maintenance in Azure
  • Write and Maintain RESTful APIs for Microservices Communication
  • Participate in CI/CD Pipeline Setup and Deployment Automation
Requirements:
  • At least 8-15 years of software development experience with Java.
  • Expertise in Core Java (Java 8+), J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, JSON, Microservices Architecture.
  • Strong Experience with SQL (MS-SQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL Databases like Cosmos DB.
  • Proven Experience with Azure Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Messaging Systems like Kafka.
  • Candidates must possess exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of UI Technologies like React JS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Experience in Financial/Banking Industries.
  • Familiarity with Maven, Gradle, Git.
  • Skills in DB Performance Tuning and Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
  • Knowledge of Control-M, Dynatrace, and ServiceNow.
Job Requirements and Expectations:

As a Senior Developer, you will work across the microservices landscape in legacy and modernization projects.

You will be assigned to scrum teams based in Pune, with potential rotation between modules.

Technical Specifications:
  • Core Technology Stack: Java backend, Microservices, Kubernetes, Azure, Kafka, ETL (Airflow, Spring Batch, Apache Camel), Snowflake.
  • Snowflake Requirements: Must know how to connect, deploy, handle databases, and write pipelines.
  • Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience with CI/CD in Agile Environments.
  • Terraform is a plus for Infrastructure-as-Code.
Team and Work Model:

The team is based in Pune, working 3 days a week onsite.

This role involves collaboration with APAC/EMEA teams, mainly through India evening calls to overlap with USA hours.
