Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled AI/ML engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing innovative AI-native software that enhances creativity and productivity for teams and enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build high-performance, AI-enabled products that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and other recent developments in foundation models. Evaluate and assimilate emerging techniques into production systems.
  • Develop efficient search and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG): data indexing, ranking, and query processing capabilities.
  • Create evaluation frameworks for agent, RAG, and LLM performance. We take a polyglot approach to working with LLMs, preferring open-source models.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Software Engineering or end-to-end Data Science. Proficiency in Python and data-oriented algorithms.
  • Strong background in either distributed data systems or machine learning engineering. Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Ray is a plus.
  • Proven ability to experiment with new techniques and deliver robust production code. We work mostly in Python, using LlamaIndex and LangChain in our emerging RAG stack.
  • Recent demonstrated experience in building agents, training and evaluating emerging foundation LLMs, building RAG systems, and planet-scale information retrieval systems, or working with vector databases.
