Okta Expert Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Okta expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in architecture, implementation, integration, and support of Okta-based solutions in complex enterprise environments.

The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing Okta Identity Cloud features including SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management, Universal Directory, and API access management.

  • Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for Okta solutions across projects.
  • Design, configure, and implement Okta Identity Cloud features.
  • Integrate Okta with various applications using SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and other protocols.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, engineering teams, and security leads to define access control strategies and identity workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to authentication, authorization, and provisioning.

The perfect candidate will have 6+ years of overall experience in IAM with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Okta Identity Cloud.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong knowledge of SSO, MFA, OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and API security.
  • Experience with Okta Workflows, custom scripting, and identity automation.
  • Familiarity with integrating Okta with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, Office 365).
  • Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO27001, GDPR).

Nice to have skills include experience with adjacent IAM tools like SailPoint, Saviynt, or CyberArk, and scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) for automation and customization.
