Job Title: Commis 2 Indian
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Commis 2 Indian to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
- Kitchen Maintenance and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety requirements and hotel policies.
- Stock Management: Maintain and order stocks and supplies, ensuring that all necessary ingredients are available for food preparation.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Teamwork: Demonstrate teamwork by cooperating and assisting coworkers as needed.
- Hotel Policies: Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including attending work on time, following hotel standards regarding personal hygiene, and reporting for duty punctually.
Requirements:
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Food Safety: Knowledge of food safety requirements and hotel policies.
- Stock Management: Ability to maintain and order stocks and supplies.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills.
Working Conditions:
This role requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with regular exposure to heat, noise, and physical activity. The successful candidate will be required to wear the correct uniform and name badge at all times.
