About us: A global fintech company with a presence in multiple countries.

We are seeking an experienced backend developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a solid track record of delivering high-quality code and working closely with frontend developers, middleware teams, and content teams.

The team is responsible for the CMS system on which all of our client's websites are built. These sites see millions of hits every week.

As a senior backend developer, you will be expected to engage with agile methodologies, adaptive frameworks, and best practices to fulfill deadlines and improve the overall quality of our systems.

  • Design, develop, and maintain back-end features using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. Develop custom integrations to meet business requirements.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, technical issues, and defects. Optimize solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Mentor junior team members and participate in pair programming and extreme programming.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience working in a client-facing development team with strong experience in Java and backend development.
  • Strong experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementations or similar platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customer centricity.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
