Job Title: Senior Golang Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golang backend developer to join our team. As a senior Golang backend developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services using Golang.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop efficient and scalable backend services using Golang.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code by following best practices and coding standards.
  • Architect scalable microservices and RESTful APIs that are easy to maintain and upgrade.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security using concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning.
  • Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching technologies (Redis, Memcached) to ensure seamless data storage and retrieval.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to enforce coding standards and improve their skills.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues using problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of backend development experience with at least 5+ years in Golang.
  • Strong understanding of concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning in Golang.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and API development.
  • Proficiency in databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP/Azure.
  • Knowledge of messaging queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS is a plus.
  • Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking to lead technical discussions.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with GraphQL or gRPC is a plus.
  • Knowledge of event-driven systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack is a plus.
  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
