Job Title: Product Visionary

This role is for a Product Visionary in the Healthcare IT domain. The person acts as a bridge between business (healthcare users) and technical teams (developers, testers). They need both domain knowledge (healthcare, EHR, clinical/revenue cycle workflows) and technical understanding (APIs, databases, integrations) along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

A key responsibility of this role is to manage the product backlog, deciding what features the dev team should build first. This requires understanding customer & product needs and acting as the voice of business for the dev team. Collaboration with the Product Manager on feature priorities is also essential.

In addition to these tasks, the Product Visionary will be responsible for breaking down complex tasks into user stories, reviewing test cases to ensure they meet acceptance criteria, and approving completed user stories once tested and demoed. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to create UML diagrams and wireframes for new features.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of system architecture, data flow, and integrations (how different healthcare systems talk to each other). Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology and expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC) are must-haves for this role. Knowledge of APIs, SQL databases, and integrations is also necessary.

Key Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare domain including clinical workflows or revenue cycle – billing, claims, patient data flow.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Ability to write requirement documents and create wireframes (basic mockups of screens).
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of APIs, SQL databases, and system integrations.
  • Expertise in backlogs management and basic SQL query writing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and healthcare IT standards such as FHIR, HL7, REST APIs, and EHR systems.
