Performance Test Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our testing group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our web and API-based applications.

  • Design and execute comprehensive performance test cases using JMeter to identify and troubleshoot issues before they reach production.
  • Perform load, stress, and endurance testing to validate system capacity and detect potential bottlenecks.
  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed performance reports to inform development and QA teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve performance-related issues and improve overall application quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in performance testing or UFT Testing with a strong understanding of JMeter scripting and execution.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies and APIs, including HTTP/HTTPS protocols and data formats.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (optional).
