Industrial Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Specialist to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of industrial automation solutions.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead design configuration and deployment of industrial automation solutions.
  • Architect and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems and cloud platforms.
  • Develop and maintain secure data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.
  • Manage industrial databases for high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs.
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing SCADA deployments.
  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, etc.
  • Proficiency with database technologies: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies.
  • REST APIs for system interconnectivity.
  • MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication.
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards: ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms: Azure IoT, AWS IoT, etc.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.
  • Familiarity with containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, for SCADA deployments.
  • Experience in working on large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Certifications: Ignition Gold Certified Specialist OPC UA or relevant industrial IT/OT certifications.
