We are seeking a skilled Medical Writer to contribute to the development of accurate and informative content for various healthcare initiatives.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical writing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and editing written content for various audiences, including patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

  • Develop and edit written content to support patient engagement, access to care, and coordination with treatment centers across multiple healthcare programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in messaging and materials.
  • Conduct research and gather insights to inform content development and improve patient outcomes.
  • Review and revise content for clarity, concision, and readability.
  • Maintain accurate records and track progress towards project goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support patients with treatment adherence, follow-up, and emotional counseling.
  • Assist patients in applying for government and non-government aid programs at both state and central levels.
  • Help patients and caregivers with documentation, form submissions, and navigating official processes for availing treatment support.
  • Create and maintain a repository of state and national-level patient assistance schemes and health entitlements.
  • Track and follow up with patients regularly to ensure continuity of care and linkage to appropriate support programs.
  • Coordinate with hospital social work departments, government agencies, and NGOs to ensure patient needs are addressed.
  • Identify and build a local donor network, including individuals and community-based groups, willing to support patients financially or in-kind.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, gather field-level insights, and contribute to regular reporting and documentation.
  • Assist in field logistics, coordination with healthcare staff, and support day-to-day project operations.

The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree in Medical Writing, Public Health, or a related field. 2–4 years of relevant experience in healthcare-related medical writing or public health programs is required. Graduates from institutions like TISS, PHFI, or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.
