We are seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Estimator. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in the broadband, telecom, and outside plant industry.

About the Role:
  • This position requires expertise in estimating within the broadband, telecom, or outside plant industry.
  • You will be responsible for reviewing customer provided Request for Proposals (RFPs) documents to gain a comprehensive understanding of project scope, RFP response requirements, project specifications, project schedule, and customer objectives.
  • You will develop tailored estimate and bid preparation templates specifically designed for each RFP project.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to build cost breakdowns, high-level schedules, risk registers, preliminary resource plans, and populate customer bid pricing forms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary project information and ensure accurate estimates.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and research to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to present estimates, address inquiries, and provide recommendations as needed.
Key Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial low voltage and/or fiber optic cabling project coordination and estimating.
  • Expertise in Excel with the ability to develop complex spreadsheets and models.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong passion for the industry and a drive for excellence.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members and clients.
